Biyarka Irediya

Inspired by the little sketches I'd make in the corner of pages of syllabus books from school, and my multicultural and transnational upbringing, my works include real-world visual references and abstract art in mini form.

I like to show versatility in my art through various styles and moods. I do not see myself conforming to one style and I like this diversity I possess. I was born and raised in Macau, lived in Oslo for 5 years, and am currently residing in Lisboa since 2016. I'm aspiring to work exclusively as an artist and to fully integrate myself in the art world.

It's my first chance at showcasing my work to people outside my inner circle and I hope people can enjoy and interpret it in their own way.
